The Information Sheet for March 2024 is now available to view in the 'Parents' section of the website.
We will be holding another Film Night on Friday 2nd February, from 6:30pm - 8:30pm. When dropping off and collecting children it would be helpful if P1 and P2 children could come in and go home via the main entrance, while the P3 to P7 children can use the door at the senior playground. Also, if you can share lifts with other families (where possible) it might help to cut down on the amount of traffic around school at those times.
More information can be be found in the 'Parents' section of the school website, under 'Letters'
We very much appreciate people taking the time to come out and support our Carol Service in December. A total of £1100 was raised, which will be shared equally between Bethany Pryce and Heartbeat NI/Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children.
Our annual parent/teacher meetings will be held the week prior to our half-term break in February. Time slots for interviews with each teacher will be available in the General Office from Wednesday 24th January. Please come into school as soon as possible after that date and choose the most suitable time(s) for your interview(s).
Admission to Primary 1
Anyone who wishes to enrol their child in Primary 1 in September 2024 needs to submit their online application by Friday 26th January at 12:00pm. The application process should be completed by visiting the EANI website and following the link to ‘Admissions.’
If anyone feels they need help completing the online application please contact us and we will be very happy to help by facilitating a session in our Computer Room to assist with this.
We would like to thank everyone who has made a donation to our School Fund. This is an extremely important source of income for us, and your generosity is greatly appreciated. Anyone else wishing to help in this way can still make a donation.
We will be holding a special event in school on Friday 27th October from
7pm to 9pm. This will take the form of a ‘Messy Harvest’ craft night for the children along with lots of delicious desserts, tea & coffee for the adults! This should be a nice night for all the family, and we hope everyone is able to come along. Tickets are available from the school office, and payment can be made via ParentPay, or by sending payment into school in an envelope. Tickets are priced at £5 for adults and £3 for children.
We now have a range of school hair accessories available for the girls.
These can be viewed in the 'Parents' section of the website, where there is also information on how to buy these items.
Please apply NOW if you think you may be eligible for free school meals, as this is something which benefits you and the school.
If your claim is successful, the daily cost of a school meal is waived and you do not have to pay. Your child will then be eligible for a free school meal every day. However, your child does not have to take dinner every day if they don’t want to. It is available as often, or as little, as you prefer.
The school benefits through extra funding for every child that is eligible for free school meals. This is extremely important to us in today’s climate of cuts to the Education budget.
We need to make sure we get the maximum funding possible for the school. Even if your child rarely takes school dinner please apply (you don’t have to avail of the dinners).
The link for applications is below - it is all done online. Thank you.
