P7 Christmas Baubles - the p7s all got to make a lovely Christmas bauble which included a picture of them in a santa hat - as well as a piece of string measured to their height. We hope in years to come they can look back on these and see what height they were during their last year at school.
We all enjoyed a morning of making Christmas chocolates (and eating them).
Christmas crafts - we all enjoyed making these little wool bobble hats. A lot of the children used them as little winter hats on their water bottles.
Fantastic day away seeing Aladdin at the pantomime - along with the p5/6 classes.
Celebrating Mrs McMath's birthday with a little party. I think everyone enjoyed all the treats!
The boys and girls enjoyed some outdoor learning along with campfire songs and delicious toasted marshmallows at our campfire event.
Some of the boys and girls helping to paint our harvest window display.
Harvest arts & crafts. The p6/7s worked together in teams to create a family of scarecrows as part of our harvest displays.
Finished Pumpkins
Pumpkin painting p6/7 - the p6/7s enjoyed painting their pumpkins. It was great seeing how creative everyone is - as well as seeing all the different and brilliant ideas.
Pumpkin Painting
Daniel with his home grown pumpkin!
He had the brilliant idea to turn it into a helicopter. Super work!
Walking Debate
Monday afternoon walking debate. Lots of fun and lots of interesting conversations.
Thank you to our local community police officers for taking the time to speak to the P6/7s about how to keep themselves safe.
As part of our Titanic topic the P7s were learning about density today. They experimented with different solutions to see whether the grape would float or sink.
For Autumn inspired Art we looked at Vincent Van Gogh's painting "Into the Woods" - we experimented using paints and pastels to create our own versions of the painting
We were learning the importance of setting out dialogue correctly. We worked in groups to make up conversations, and then presented these to the class.
