P6/7 Mr Peacock & Mrs Herron

We had a great time at Cultra learning about life in Victorian times. We especially liked the corner sweet shop!

The P6/7s had great fun making volcanoes using paper mache. They then took them outside and added fairy liquid, food colouring, baking soda and vinegar before standing back to watch them erupt!

We were learning about earthquakes. We used cocktail sticks and marshmallows to build 'earthquake proof' structures. We had great fun testing them out!

We loved listening to each other present their news reports on extreme weather across the world

P6 and P7 enjoyed getting to use the probots. They gave it instructions and watched it create numbers

Autumn artwork. We created these by using paint, oil pastels and felt tips. They look brilliant displayed in our classroom

Umbrella silhouettes. We experimented with different techniques to create rain
