Our annual school Sports Day will be held on Wednesday 4th June at 10:45am at Ballyvea FC’s pitches on the Carrigenagh Road. Family and friends are invited to attend. If there is inclement weather we will hold it on the next suitable day.
Our Open Day will be held on Thursday 12th December, from 1:00pm - 3:00pm. This will provide an opportunity for any parents with a child yet to start school to visit the Foundation Stage classes and meet the staff. Current pupils and parents do not need to attend, as this event is aimed at prospective new parents and pupils.
During the last week of term, from 24th - 28th June children do not have to wear their school uniform, as this will facilitate our Uniform Swap.
Please remember our Jumble Sale next week! You can attend the sale with your children on the following dates/times:
➡ Wednesday 17th April from 1.45pm to 3.30pm
➡ Thursday 18th April from 8.30am to 9.00am
Thank you for all of the donations made so far. We do not need any more books, but DO need other items that will appeal to the children, if you have any. Any items you send in should still be in good condition and in working order, with all parts included. Many thanks!
The outcome of the admissions applications, which were completed in January, will be communicated to parents on Thursday 25th April.
We will be holding another Film Night on Friday 2nd February, from 6:30pm - 8:30pm. When dropping off and collecting children it would be helpful if P1 and P2 children could come in and go home via the main entrance, while the P3 to P7 children can use the door at the senior playground. Also, if you can share lifts with other families (where possible) it might help to cut down on the amount of traffic around school at those times.
More information can be be found in the 'Parents' section of the school website, under 'Letters'
We very much appreciate people taking the time to come out and support our Carol Service in December. A total of £1100 was raised, which will be shared equally between Bethany Pryce and Heartbeat NI/Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children.
Our annual parent/teacher meetings will be held the week prior to our half-term break in February. Time slots for interviews with each teacher will be available in the General Office from Wednesday 24th January. Please come into school as soon as possible after that date and choose the most suitable time(s) for your interview(s).
